Dr. Maksym Ruzanov, DMD

Dr. Maksym Ruzanov, known by his patients as “Dr. Maks”, graduated from the University of South Florida with his bachelor of science degree in May, 2012. He went on to complete his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Florida in 2016. With the raising popularity and his desire for higher training in dental implants, Dr. Maks saw the value in continuing his education with the University of Florida and completing a residency in advanced education in general dentistry in 2017. In this program he earned the certificate in comprehensive interdisciplinary dental implant continuum.

Dr. Maks is highly trained, has incredible clinical dentistry skills, while still maintaining that kind and stress-free atmosphere that means so much to his patients on the island and nearby. Island Dental Spa offers family dentistry services, same day crowns using the latest CEREC technology, SureSmile aligner therapy, teeth whitening and more. Dr. Maks sees great value in maintaining active memberships in the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the Manatee County Dental Association.

Dr. Maks is originally a native to Ukraine but has called Bradenton his home for a long time. His wife (Erika) grew up her entire life in the Lakewood Ranch area and it was easy to fall in love with the family friendly lifestyle that Bradenton has. They have lived here for four years (since completing higher education) and plan on raising their three sons here. Dr. Maks and his family enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible fishing, boating, camping, and going on new adventures.
